Learning to do effective bibliographic research
The Library proposes many training initiatives aimed at developing soft skills such as the ability to find more authoritative biomedical information through both open (Pubmed) and University-subscribed databases.
Many training formats are available: both short presentations for small groups and "courses" that include credits (CFU). Since 2023 the courses are face-to-face as set out in the UniGe didactical regulation. The students are the courses target, from the first year to the dissertation level.
First-year students presentations
The "presentations" take place at the beginning of the semester, if requested by the offices and/or professors. They are brief meetings on the library services delivered by the library staff.
Courses for students and graduating persons, ADE (optional activities) that include credits ("CFU")
The credits are delivered on the basis of didactical regulation. The ADEs are planned in modules focused on services and resources delivered by the UniGe Librarian System.
