At the Library, we periodically organise a ‘thematic display’ showcasing books and documents from our collection that relate to a particular theme or anniversary. For February 2026, we have chosen ‘Marine Ecology’.
Nowadays, this is a topic of fundamental importance not only for the protection of the environment, but also for human health and well-being. The ocean and coastal areas form a complex ecosystem, the health of which has a direct impact on public health. Through this selection of books, essays and research theses, the display aims to offer a multidisciplinary perspective on marine dynamics, biodiversity and the pressing environmental challenges of our time.
